Security Overview

The New Data Direct API leverages several Azure Cloud components to ensure robust protection and high availability. Azure Application Gateway is employed as the entry point for our API traffic, providing comprehensive security through SSL termination and DDoS protection, ensuring that only legitimate traffic reaches our services.

Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) is integrated to deliver advanced threat detection and mitigation. The WAF provides protection against common web vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and other OWASP top 10 threats.

Together, these Azure services ensure that our API remains secure and resilient against various cyber threats.
